Tip Tuesday: Get out those lumps and bumps!

Welcome back to my Tip Tuesday series! If you’re new to my blog, every Tuesday (I hope! If I fall off the wagon feel free to bug me about it!) I’ll be sharing a tip, hack or sewing technique to help you sew faster, better and with more confidence. Today’s tip is all about the lumps and bumps of sewing!

If you have a serger (I love this one from Amazon), you probably use it on everything you can- especially when you’re making something simple, like a knit t-shirt. However, there are some times when it’s better NOT to use your serger, and that’s where today’s tip comes in!

Watch the video below, and let me know what you think! How do you sew your neckbands?

And a few of my favorite FREE top patterns that use this technique:

Itch to Stitch Lago Tank (blogged here)

Greenstyle Green Tee (blogged here)

Halla Stardust Tank (blogged here)

Do you have a suggestion for future “Tip Tuesday” posts? What are you sewing today? Leave a comment here or on my Facebook Page!

Happy Tuesday!

Very good. I’ll be switching up how I do that.
