Welcome to Day 3 of the Super G SewAlong!
If you don’t have your pattern yet, you can get it here.
Need to catch up?
Day 1 is HERE on the blog. It’s got lots of tips for sewing activewear, as well as information on supplies, sizing, and cutting into your fabric.]
Day 2 is HERE. It has two videos, one for each view, and covers the pocket construction, tips for doing a reverse coverstitch with your coverstitch machine or sewing machine, as well as sewing the center front seam.
Today we are going to be sewing our center back seam and gusset. I’m offering some crotch fitting tips as well (eek!), so let ‘s get started!
If you’re struggling to put in the gusset, you may also want to check out Angelyn’s video below, which gives a really great close up of how to get it in there correctly!
Well, that’s it! How are you coming along? You can try your Super G’s on today, but keep in mind the addition of the waistband tomorrow will make a HUGE difference in how they feel. You’re almost there!
