I’m really excited to share a hack I developed for the Tie Back Tank SewAlong this week- a sleeved version! What’s even better is that you don’t have to purchase another pattern to make this yourself- the sleeves and body I’m using are from the FREE Green Tee (join the Greenstyle Facebook group to get the code!). Still need the Tie Back Tank pattern? Join the So Sew English Sew-A-Longs Group for an exclusive code for 25% off (expires TODAY, 9/12/17) and get the pattern here (aff link).
If you’re just joining in, you can check out previous posts in this series below:
I was inspired to do this after seeing this GapFit top come up on my newsfeed:
I like mine better! I added thumbhole cuffs to my sleeves, and lowered the neckline a couple inches for my preference (the cuffs were stolen from another pattern, check out the video tutorial on drafting your own from another blogger here).
Greenstyle also has a great thumbhole cuff tutorial (cuffs in this tutorial are from the awesome Sundance Jacket pattern- aff)
Now my arms (and hands!) will stay warm on winter runs, while I get plenty of ventilation in the back!
Ready for the hack? Check out my video below (and ignore the crazy face I’m making here! I hate it when videos pause like that!)
