Super G Sew-Along: Day 4

Day 1 is HERE on the blog. It’s got lots of tips for sewing activewear, as well as information on supplies, sizing, and cutting into your fabric.]

Day 2 is HERE. It has two videos, one for each view, and covers the pocket construction, tips for doing a reverse coverstitch with your coverstitch machine or sewing machine, as well as sewing the center front seam.

Day 3 is HERE. It covers attaching the gusset and sewing the center back seam.

Today’s Tasks:

You should have something that really looks like a pair of leggings! Today we are going to be sewing in our waistband and hemming our pants- and then you’ll be done!

    Sarah, I just finished my second pair of Super G’s this time View B with pockets and a high rise waistband. Somehow these are a smidge tighter than my first “muslin” which was made with no side seam. Not sure if it was the fabric, seam allowance or something else. Thanks for the videos, they were very helpful.
