Tie Back Tank Sew-A-Long: Full Back Hack

I’ve been having SO MUCH fun sewing along with you during the Tie Back Tank Sew-A-Long and I’m excited to share one last hack today: A full back tank, for those times when you don’t want to have any ventilation!

Catching up? Check out these videos from the past couple days:

This is a very quick and easy hack- so grab some tracing paper, your pattern, and let’s get started!

This fabric was leftover from my Sunshine dress that I used for family photos, and I’ve been saving the scraps for just the right project.

I opted for the racerback version with bands on the neck and arms this time, and lowered and widened the neck (as I do to almost all my tanks) for nursing access.

It is very nicely fitted in the bust, but has just the right amount of swing at the bottom- I could live in these!

I’d love to see your versions of the Tie Back Tank- please post them on my Facebook Page (and on the So Sew English SewAlongs Group and the Greenstyle Creations group)!

  1. […] The pattern I used for my tank is the Greenstyle Tie Back tank, but look, it has no tie in the back! I used this quick and fun hack posted by Sewing with Sarah, you can find it here. […]
